BEN Mille Miglia Rally

Today was the official start of the Mille Miglia Rally. Kelly and Laura decided to mark the occasion by wearing Team Fiat colours. The day began with a visit to the Mille Miglia Museum which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Team tractor went in search of a front CV joint, and tried various dealers unsuccessfully to find the part required. They modified the Landrover in best AA tradition with a quality temporary repair. The Landrover is now a two wheel drive for the rest of the journey.

We all then headed across to Verona, one of Italy’s most beautiful cities, for a pit stop. There was lots to see and do, one of which was visiting the magnificent Roman Amphitheatre. Quite a few of us had difficulties trying to find the way out!

We all then made our way to our hotel in Rimini and were greeted by typical English weather, rain. We were not deterred and dipped our feet in the Adriatic Sea.
